Kitchen Assistant/porter at Blackheath, London SE10 8AD Full Time Part Time Temporary

Our client is recruiting a skilled Kitchen assistant at their public hospital / Care home.

As Kitchen assistant, you will provide support to the Chef’s in cleanliness and food preparation of the kitchen and ensuring all equipment, fridge’s, ovens, floors and storerooms are maintain highest of standards.

Key Responsibilities will include…

Helping and supporting all members of the kitchen team
Consistently working to a high level, making sandwiches and light food prep
Assist in all cleaning and hygiene of the kitchen
Being organised, working with the kicthen team on service of food to the patients
Staying calm under pressure
Adhering to Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines and procedures
Cleaning of crockery, cutlery & glasses
Being flexible and willing to help
Washing of pots and pans
Cleaning of food preparation areas

Ideally you will have an update to date DBS check but enhanced DBS will be required prior to commencement.
