Due to our increasing client base we are now looking to recruit Qualified Electricians based in in London, Essex and also Kent area. Key responsibilities will be to carry out a varying scope of electrical installation works, remedial works. You should also be able to do reactive maintenance mainly to commercial properties. Work ranges from local domestic and industrial installations to present international status and also data centres. You must be able to offer reliable and innovative solutions to specialist requirements in the electrical and mechanical field for the railway industry
Qualification requirements are City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent with City and Guilds and 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations. City and Guilds 2394/5 (formally City & Guilds 2391) would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
Confidence, the ability to work under pressure and also willingness to become a key individual. You must be able to self-manage your own workload and jobs are all qualities which the successful candidates should possess.
This position suits a highly motivated person who can work within a fast paced award winning electrical contracting company.

You must be able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team whilst also being able to integrate with other trades on site.
Rates of pay will depend on the candidate’s qualifications. We are ideally looking for a gold card approved electrician with current 2391 or equal. Rates and travel allowances shall mirror JIB rates with incentives added.
The Successful candidate shall be required to:
Have the ability to work on all types of Commercial, Industrial and Domestic Installations on their own or as part of a team
Have up to date understanding to 17th Edition (2008)+A3 (2015) and also hold 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
Supply their own hand tools and small battery drill.
Hold a valid CSCS/ECS card and must have done electrician jobs in railway industry
Have an understanding of completing certification to NICEIC standards.
Hold a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and not have any serious driving convictions.
Manage fellow team members if required
Work outside of our local area if required.
You will be required to provide details of two previous but recent employers that you’ve worked for in a similar role as referees.
